The basic plan is 4 inch lift 33 inch tires locked both axles and some various goodies just for good measure Today I installed the Rustys offroad tail light boxes I like them they fit well look good and with some standard 4 inch lights are very bright. They installed in about 45 minutes (along with me installing a tail light converter for trailer use too) The pic is of the tail lights the stop and turn lights are a bit bright for my phones camera and blurred the picture. All in all id have to say 30-50% brighter than stock lighting. also installed a throttle body spacer from them as well talk about a easy project. I took a bit longer than needed because I cleaned up the throttle body a bit but holy cow it fit the directions were spot on and the only complaint I have is really about my lack of a bored out throttle body to match it. Ill keep updating this as I work on the heep feel free to ask questions

ok today we recieved a package from performance offroad.
we got the 488 front gears both front and rear install kits and the new front carrier. Looking at the gears has me itching to get the axles out for install lol.
This weekend I hope to get the front bumper steering box plates and rear bumper installed. Should be finishing up dennis's axle so I can start fixing up mine too but I need to do some prep on the bender and welding area first.
so were still waiting on the front locker and I need to buy rims and tires still maybe some spacers depending on if I choose to keep the current rims or buy new.
Oh and as a side note high temp paint takes forever to dry day 3 and the rear bumper is still tacky wtf. Next time im buying the good shit!

WOOOO HOOOO northridge 4x4 came through like champs and pulled a dana 30 aussie locker out of no where. I was told they were back ordered and was getting a powertrax no slip instead. I hate no slips they just are not durable so Im very happy I got the aussie in today only 5 days after ordering.

OK goal for this weekend is to install this and re-install the rear bumper change out the crok rocker bolts and build and install some steering box plates and brace. Im taking my time and prepping the jeep as best I can before the lift goes on so that I can actually take it out and romp on it when it is all done. Im hoping to order the frame rail kit next week which should be fun to install but totally worth it from what I have seen. I might even go as far as fabbing up some other links to stiffen the uni body but I definably have to start work on the belly pan/cross braces and tire carrier/storage for in the cargo area

Well today was busy I got the new battery installed yup no big wow there but we needed one and that led to changing the cable terminals and swapping out the battery tray again no big wow but its some thing to start the day with. and yes I do know it is a duralast battery from vatozone but it was in our price range and the group 34 fit like a glove and was $89 so if you don't like it. Next project for the day was to install the updated booster and master cylinder. Well that led in to a couple smaller projects. Being as our XJ is a 90 it has the Renix motor and all its trimmings. Well after about a hour of looking and making notes I decided the easiest way to make the booster and master fit was to make a cone filter intake and remove the washer bottle from right where the upgraded brake parts were going to be residing. So with a idea of what parts we have here I went to work. I don't think it turned out to badly considering I didn't even have to make one trip to the parts store. Here is how it looks right now. I plan on getting a dust sock for the filter and finding a way to put the washer bottle back in. I think I need to bleed the brakes again the peddle feels good but it gets sloppy with repeated use so that's on tap for tomorrow along with the rear bumper and rocker skin bolt swap as well as finishing a few other things.

Well today was tune-up and throttle body day.
I installed a crown tune up kit, while doing so discovered 2 plug wires were burnt a little and took out the autolite platinum plugs for the copper plus ones in the kit, and yes it was a mistake using the platinum plugs they simply looked terrible.
next project is the throttle body, I bought a 63mm bored throttle body and on top of the spacer I already installed I can notice a nice crisp throttle now
also discovered we have one injector wire that is either broken or messed up so a junk yard trip will be in order shortly.
The tune up kit had a stock air filter and oil filter if anyone needs them let me know I cant use either of them
