your not going to tell us why you had to put a muffler on?
i mean the whole story!
ok well it all started when I was lifting the back of the jeep and noticed the muffler had broken all the way around the inlet pipe and I said to my self "damnit ill fix it later" then after the days wrenching was done Anthony and I went and played in the wash and well the first ledge grabbed it and ripped it off, then a few days later the power steering hose started leaking directly on the exhaust manifold and caused a small fire that damaged some wires oh and the vacuum hose to the map sensor but I didnt see that one till 2 days later when the jeep started backfiring and throwing flames at passing cars, now i thought that the jeep was just mad but turns out the map sensor was making it run full rich all the time and was dumping fuel into the exhaust. well we get to just before our offramp and the jeep looses power and dies, well flames and running rich i figured we killed the catalytic converter and stalled because no exhaust could pass, well after a hour and 15 minutes wait for a tow truck, 5 minutes to fix the bad vacuum hose, a hour and 20 minute ride home on a tow truck and 30 seconds to cut the cat off i discovered it was still ok just sooty and probable no good but i could see light through it and figured it flowed ok and Id put a old busted muffler and turn down on and weld it all up nice and strong and fix the broken parts to the muffler, well it still wouldn't start just crank. i do the proverbial jeep dance of kicking dirt yelling obscenities and cursing the jeep gods, and remembered the gas guage said 3/4 of a tank, well i had driven up the hill and down twice and that ment i used about a full tank plus going back down the hill just before it died, holy crap my gas gauge doesn't work! we ran out of gas yes folks Im a retard
