This is my other project that I am planning on starting this summer hopefully. My dad bought it new in May of '69, three months before I was born. It is my dads greatest treasure, he bought it to someday give his son. Well a couple years ago I convinced him to turn it over to me so that I may start working on it before he passes. I need to get with it because my dad has been in bad health for a while now and I need to do something with it. Since the truck was in the desert most of it's life, I've decided to convert it to 4 wheel drive...........the way it should have been when my dad first got it. Anyway, just wanted to share this with everyone.

Cool, truck dude. Get working on it. I also think a white and orange paint scheme should be inline for it.

We has the same one when I was growing up. My dad finally decided to sell it when I was 8 or so.
Ours was blue and white.

I've decided to do a race-like front "I" beam suspension with a set of Deavers in the rear with a selectable locker in the D60. I think it will be a good desert truck. Of course a paint job and all the usual upgrades.
